Our trip to Caramoan can be compared to a love affair – it set out a roller coaster of emotions that added edge to the tour..
- 15 hours of gruelling road trip and 2 hours boat ride to the destination - no phone signals for days (Globe and Sun services are unavailable in the island)
- superb accommodation by Al del Rio Villa staff (thanks to my local friend)
- visiting an old church and watching bats fly by
- 2 hours-wait for dinner and ending up in another local kainan
- regular brown outs
- funny anecdotes and tsismis from locals
- breath taking views and beaches
- climbing up and going down hill to enjoy a secluded spot
- getting scratches and burns
- eating octopus meat
- collecting fresh shells
- getting a group massage (which is my weirdest massage experience so far)
- brunch at Bigg's
- minor road accident (thank God for our guardian angels and the old man who uttered a prayer for our safe trip)
- another 17 hours of travel back home
Despite these, and like a fevered lover na di nadadala (hehe), we still look forward to going back to Caramoan to see the islands that we were not able to visit dahil sa Survivor USA shooting :P
